So I'm reading blogs again, and ran into a mention about this article about the history of Microsoft.com (the website). I had ran into a couple of years ago (probably about 3 or 4) and it fascinated me then, and even re-reading it still fascinates me.
Another thing thats interesting (probably only to me) is the fact that the same article is still available via the same URL... quite a feat in this “fluid web“ we all live in... (Thank God for Google's View Cached Result!)
At the end of the article the author trails off with a mention to come back in 6 years... and the article was written right about 2000... so how bout some more nostalgia?
