Printing via Remote Desktop vs PDF vs Metro
So obviously anybody who's had to put up with Remote Desktops and Printing understand that the whole printing system in Windows has major flaws. Granted, they are unforseen flaws, but flaws nonetheless. For starters, we all thought that with printer drivers, an application could just say “Render this bitmap at this location”, “Write some text here, write some more text here in this font” and so forth. Burned CD lifetime is shockingly short
http://msn.pcworld.com/news... Just caught this article regarding the life span of burned CDs... frankly I'm shocked. The author then goes on to recommend magnetic tape?! My experience with magnetic tape has not been good. Using a DLT-4, probably higher quality, I still get random restore errors, one error happened in a 1GB pst file that Outlook was NOT able to recover. (This was after I, the IT guy, had mistakenly erased it when trying to move it to a newer computer.) ......

CAPTCHA on GeeksWithBlogs.net comments seems to be working TOO well...
Anybody else noticed this? I've tried many times to submit comments to fellow GeekswithBlogs' comment sections, but the CAPTCHA seems to keep kicking it back... I wanted to post a comment to Mickey Goussett's blog, and tried literally 10 times, with 10 different CAPTCHA's, and all 10 bounced me back...
