eG Innovations Extends Industry’s Only Single Agent Technology
as Part of New Release of its
Enterprise Service Management Software

Unique single-agent technology can now be installed and configured faster.
New release also has improved monitoring dashboard, enhanced reporting,
broader infrastructure coverage and greater interoperability.

eG Innovations, a global provider of business service monitoring and triage solutions for IT infrastructures, today announced the general availability of version 3.2 of its eG Enterprise Management Suite. The new software allows IT organizations to “do more with less” in a number of critical operational areas, thereby extending eG’s measurable price/performance competitive advantage in the enterprise service management software market.

The new software strengthens eG’s industry-first single agent technology and also includes enhancements in key areas such as performance reporting, real-time monitoring, support of a broader set of leading industry applications, such as Citrix and SAP; and tighter integration with multi-vendor network management systems.

The eG Enterprise single agent technology provides unsurpassed price/performance benefits because of its one-agent-fits-all-needs capabilities. A single agent license can be used to monitor any of the operating systems supported by eG Enterprise. Furthermore, over 80 different applications and network platforms are supported by the single agent, and no knowledge modules or special-purpose plug-ins are needed to monitor individual applications. The single agent license is also valid for multi-processor systems; i.e., the same single agent architecture can be used for monitoring a 4-way, 8-way or other server configuration.
