Users in the Healthcare industry benefit from the standard smartcard reader integrated in all Clever Client models giving the smallest possible desktop “footprint”.
The latest range of IGEL thin clients have just arrived into the UK market and are already approved for the NHS "Connecting for Health" smartcard requirements. The entry level IGEL 2100 CE Smart thin client is available from just £149 + VAT.
The NHS “Connecting for Health” granted approval for the entire IGEL product range, including all Linux, Windows CE and Windows XPe based models. Alternatively to the internal smart card reader customers can also use an external USB device supporting the PC/SC standard.
