produced according to the RoHS European Union directive, which goes into effect on July 1, 2006.
IGEL is therefore the first thin client manufacturer whose entire product line complies with the EU regulation.
Reading, March 23, 2006 – On July 2006, the RoHS directive (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous
Substances) goes into effect throughout Europe. As of this date, companies have to forgo the use of heavy
metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium and brominated flame retardants in the production of
electronic or electric equipment.
