Normally I’m not a huge female comedian fan. Honestly it’s because I lose an hour of my life to jokes about how men are stupid and women continue to rule to world. It’s no different than the hour you lose with most male comedians who talk mostly about the hoe from last night or how their wife is stupid. Zzzzzzzz….
Usually it is a no win situation… but
I just finished watching “Kathy Griffin Is … Not Nicole Kidman” on Bravo and it was hilarious. Sure, everyones tastes are different but in my opinion this was funny. I’ve always liked Kathy because her comedy style is typically no-holds-barred and she pretty much says anything. Plus she dispenses with the typical sexist banter, at least most of the time, which is a plus in my book. Anyway, she does a bit on Clay Aiken that will make you cry and that my friend makes it worth watching. Not because I don’t like Clay, I really don’t care, but because it is really that funny.
You may like it, you may not, but like I said everyone is different. Some of her stuff I’m not so enthusiastic about but this one I believe is worth the time.
