Ok, so I'm a VB guy... I can't help it.  If you are a VB programmer and you have yet to dive into the Beta 2 bits you missed a good session.

There have been several improvements by the VB team for VS 2005.  Edit and Continue is back and I'm love'n it.  XML comments are now built in just like C# had them in 2003 so no more add in for that.  We have Private Property Setters back so you can once again have a Public Property with a Private Setter.  Refactoring... wow, that's a great add-on tool.  Thanks to Developer Express we have refactoring support in VB and in my opinion their tool is better than the one in the IDE for C#.  Sure, it's a lot of eye candy but I like the functionality.  I still have mixed feelings with the Intellisense “Common“ vs. “All“ tabs.  So far my use of Beta 2 has not produced any issues with this “feature“.  I think it has promise as long as it doesn't end up causing me to reach for the mouse when I need extended Intellisense.  There are many more features and changes to point out but I just can't do it justice.

If you did miss the session you will want to be sure and catch the Meet the Visual Basic Team Cabana Talk from 5:00PM - 6:15PM on Tuesday at Cabana 8.  I'll be there for sure.
