Adobe Reader 7.0 - In a Word - Fast
It looks like the people at Adobe have finally listened to the crying multitudes and done something about the startup performance of the reader. I just installed the latest version and after the inital load where it does the usual verifying and loading of things and you accept the license agreement, subsequent loads have been blazingly fast! Double-click on a PDF and the program literally blinks onto the screen. The spash screen is gone as is the annoying loading of unused plugins. Well done Adobe! ......
