re: Growth of S/W testing:India
Hello,
I wrote a book on Quality, Testing and Organization, entitled “Q-Course Quality & Organization”. In this book a testing methodology is described, based on requirements based testing. The book is available on
http://www.lulu.com/content/70334
.
In the testing methodology all functional requirements of a product are described in every test path. The only things that vary from test to test are the “trues and falses” and the values (data). This makes the testing methodology very suitable for automating tests. You only have to define one path, a couple of parameters for “true or false” and the data and that’s it. You don’t have to automate every test.
The optimal use of tools for automated testing is determined by the way the tests are modelled and defined. Therefore this book can be a welcome addition to the use and sale of your tools.
Could you please forward this to the appropriate people in your organization? It is quite a business opportunity. You only have to read the book.
Kind regards
Q-Course
