Early Wed morning my dad died. This was the end of a series of setbacks starting with falling on election day breaking his left hip and arm. He was starting to recover from the fall through physical therapy but after a few hospitalizations at Boca Community Hospital they found a tumor in his lower colon. Despite the high risk, we decided to operate, there were no reasonable alternatives. He survived the surgery much better than expected but 1 1/2 days later they moved him from the surgical ICU and ......
