Amazon.Com Offering Huge Savings on Tech Books

Bill and some others have posted about noticing their book on Amazon was selling for $16.00. Turns out that Amazon is having a huge sale on a bunch of tech books, some with pretty significant savings!

Interesting... It looks like many of those discounted books are Wrox titles, I wonder if something's brewing over at the Wiley & Sons headquarters or if Amazon is just trying to purge some stock? 5/6/2008 9:04 AM | Adam Kahtava

I don't think it has anything to do with stock, which is the weird thing about it. The ASP.NET 3.5 book for instance isn't actually IN stock until today, and although they have some books that have been around a while in the list they also have books that are VERY recent.

yeah, I'm wondering what the idea behind this deal was as well. It's a great opportunity for UG's to get some great deals on prizes if they ahve money banked up.
