INETA Provides UG's with Live Meeting Account

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 11:36 AM

Now, all of you *should* be reading your INETA newsletters, but I understand that we're busy and sometimes things get lost in the shuffle. But I wanted to bring some attention to a great new program. Basically, INETA is providing UG leaders a free Live Meeting account!

This is a great offering from INETA and brings huge value to user groups who can now

a) Have virtual board/regional meetings

b) Expose user group events to occur online at the same time as in person

c) Allow for remote speakers to still speak to your group virtually

e) <insert your idea here>

Talk to your local Membership Mentor if you want to get more information, but also check the newsletter which has all the information as well.

Jumped on this as soon as I saw it offered - already have my account live and waiting for me to start doing something with it...see my previous blog entry on this topic :) 4/16/2008 11:57 AM | Lou

This is a great idea for our group, and since D'Arcy is gung ho about bringing it to light he can be the one to push it forward, right DL? ;)

Also, I don't know what kind of stuff is in the air down there in Seattle, but with your list of items above you seemed to have skipped the letter "D" (jumped right from point "C" to "E")... D, as in "Don't like that letter!" 4/16/2008 2:17 PM | Kelly
