Yeah, right

A quote from Jeffery Palermo regarding the Code Camp Project:

"The mission of the first release is to provide an ASP.NET MVC Framework solution that can serve as the CodeCamp website for a user group.  The project will be able to track and manage multiple conferences for a single user group."

Funny enough, Pallermo never seemed to care about code camps. Suddenly he - and others - became the world’s expert on code camps, scheduling speakers, displaying sponsor logos and arranging catering. I wonder, what has he done to try and get geeks together before becoming an expert at code camps? Throwing partys? If so, I’m not that keen to believe that they have the authority to tell us how to run our code camp website.

Note: Did this post sound arrogant, irrational, shallow, immature, antagonistic, and downright juvenile? Because that's exactly what I thought when I read the original version. But then again...we're talking about a guy who takes pictures of himself in hotel rooms with bottles of chocolate sauce and maple syrup.

Sorry, when does Playpen Windsor get released?

Note2: For those that still didn't get it, this post is a joke...I'm not some bitter open source guy wishing I got a book deal.

For your information: I was approached by O'Reilly, Apress, Wrox and Manning to write a book (or in some proposals books) about Castle. I declined all. It makes no sense to do all the hard work and get payed only a small percentage of the selling.

But who are you anyway... 3/7/2008 9:01 AM | hammett

Dude...there's a limit to this textbox...and to the storage on the GWB servers...I couldn't possibly explain it here...
