Don't Pack That Spare Battery in Your Checked Luggage

Thursday, January 03, 2008 12:25 AM

According to this article...

"Effective January 1, 2008, all U.S. air travelers will be required to keep all their spare lithium batteries in carry on baggage, with the terminals covered, as a precaution against the possibility of the batteries exploding."

Not sure how people out there actually store their spare batteries in their checked bags, and no clue if this will eventually become a law in Canada, but just an FYI if you do.
