Putting the 'Human' back in Human Resources

Wednesday, December 05, 2007 1:27 PM
Aaron blogged recently about a post that Bill did, both around this idea of calling employees "resources"...or to be more precise, how wrong it is to call human beings, with all our complex emotions and feelings and needs and wants and everything else that makes us human, how wrong it is to call us "resources". I liked Aaron's comment about how coal is a resource...but people are not the equivalent of coal. Check out the blog articles...great reads.
