On my current contract, I'm delving into the realm of Oracle and discovering the joys of all things Toad and T_Cursor-ish. Posting some helpful articles that cover some of the basics of Oracle programming (not that its leaps and bounds different than SQL Server, but its still different and has its nuances):

Welcome to the world of Oracle, D'Arcy!

I have used DotNet with Oracle almost exclusively and I have been very impressed with Microsoft's implementation of Oracle in ADO.NET.

A good thing to have in the 'ol toolbelt.
