Workout Info Moving to New Blog and Business Blog Created

So now that I'm independant, there are some changes that I need to make obviously with regards to my current blog. The big picture is to have my own website up and running after the long weekend (Monday is a holiday for us Canucks), which will be the repository for my webcasts, articles, etc. This blog will continue to be a balance of tech (discussions, but also pointers to my site for new content) and personal...because I really believe that community isn't just about throwing pure tech up there, ......

CFL: Oh what a night!

Amazing couple of games to kick off the season. Although many will be discussing whether Toronto should have put in Bishop right off the hop, I think that BC just didn't make as many mistakes. Toronto looked hot though, and if they do decide on Bishop as their dedicated starter, I think they'll be electric by mid season. Oh those wily Bombers! Football Season is Upon Us!

Well, for us Canadians anyway. The CFL kicks off its regular season today with a double header of love. I've thankfully survived the short purgatory that occurs between the end of the NHL season and the beginning of the CFL season, and its time to start hating on the home team! Saw Live Free or Die Hard tonight...great flick, 4/5 for sure. Great action, great pace...really entertaining. However, what us geeks won't be able not to notice is the hilarious way technology is portrayed in the film, and the many moments that you'll be watching the movie going WTF or just laughing at the how preposterous the whole premise seems. Life Update

Just got back from a vacation in Montreal, and had a blast. I didn't want to post the long day-by-day journal type entry on the main feed, so if you're interested in reading it please check the post out here. Also, I've decided to make a career change as well. I'm leaving my current employer at the end of this month and will be doing independent consulting work starting in July...I'm very pumped. Safari Beta - the Mac take

So the new version of Safari is out in beta, not just for Mac but for Windows. This is great news! I mean, now they have TWO code-bases to fix the horrendous bugs on instead of just one! There's no secret that I'm not a huge fan of Safari. It was buggy as hell when I first used it on my Mac back in November when I got it, and i've been in very happy Firefox bliss ever since. Ducks Win the Cup, Ottawa Wonders WTF?!
