So I went to my local bike shop to see if my mountain bike was ready (brought it in for a spring tune-up).
The girl working went on a search for it, then came back telling me that it was on the next group but wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. Then she says this:
"We'll call you though when its ready, so you don't have to make a trip down and waste extra fossil fuels."
I somehow stammered out that I was just on my way home from work and wanted to check in...but seriously...waste extra fosil fuels?!
What I should have said was "Oh don't worry little lady, I don't mind the extra trip! But I should get going...I left my Hummer running outside and that thing just SUCKS the gas back!"
