I've been playing around with some new tech stuff over the last few weeks.

Office Live
I've been trying out the new Office Live offering by Microsoft (www.officelivechurch.com), and for a business its great! For an organization, I think it could work as well. It's basically Sharepoint under the hood though, so there's nothing really “new” there that I haven't seen before.

IE 7
Anyone who hasn't gotten IE 7 really should. I've been really happy with it, and have had almost no problems (a few sites that rendered funny). The tabs are awesome (yeah yeah, Firefox has had it for a while, blah blah blah).

Community Server 2.0
This is definately the cats @$$ of the stuff I've looked at recently. I love it! I've actually switched over to using it for my own personal site (which is still “under construction” I guess, but I'll be using as my main blog eventually). The only thing that I'm not a fan of is that it doesn't seem to make it super easy to edit the look/feel...I mean yeah, you can skin it...but what if you want to change the actual layout? Still playing though...

Why would anybody decide to actually give the effort to dowload IE 7?

Who would want to when you can get a browser such as Opera 9.0 which can do so much better?

I mean, think about it people... 2/17/2007 2:54 PM | Joshua Walker
