So I'm doing some work in the living room while watching the Academy awards. Some thoughts:
John Stewart is the MAN! He's doing a fantastic job tonight...very very funny. I think at first the audience was like “who's this guy from NYC hosting?” but they seem to have warmed up to him.
If there was an ongoing theme tonight, it would be “Please go see movies at the theatres instead of waiting for them to come out to DVD because we're not making as much money at the box office as we used to!”. Seriously...they keep doing montages and stressing “seeing these type of films on the big screen”. Geeze...the stars seem annoyed with having to be poster-children for the Hollywood marketing department.
