Step-by-Step into the cloud a blog of Dirk Eisenberg (>)

Windows Phone 7 will be the 3rd important smartphone platform on the market (in my personal opinion) and one goal of SharpBox was and is to support the big three, so the library has to be adapt for the following systems:

  • iOS on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch based on MonoTouch
  • Windows Phone 7 based on WP7 SDK
  • Android on phones and tabs based on MonoDroid

The iOS support was part of the library since version 1.0.1. We are working on the Android and Windows Phone 7 support very hard. Today a first preview of our working sample app based on the sharpbox library is showable. You will find a short video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGYVybwkObA

If you want to use the experiemental code by your own, feel free to check out our trunk branch from http://sharpbox.codeplex.com.

We are looking for more contributors to realize one of the simplest cloud storage APIs on all important OS platform and with support for all important cloud storage providers. If you have any question or want to join us, drop an email or leave a message in the discussion board
