Jobs, they are a-changin'

T-10 days...

January 14 is my last day at my current employer (www.sseinc.com).  I am a bit sad to leave since its been a great place to work most of the time, and I have worked with some really great people there.  But the time has come to move on...

Starting January 17th, I will start at my new job as Developer Evangelist for Infragistics.  This is an awesome opportunity to get even more deeply involved in the .NET community, evangelizing not only Infragistics fabulous products (which I have been using for a few years now), but .NET in general.  Plus I get to work with two great guys, Jason Beres and Andrew Flick

My responsibilities will include evangelizing to local .NET users groups, writing articles and creating the Infragistics reference application that you can download.  Additionally it will give me more time to blog :)

Of course it also means picking up and dragging my wife out to New Jersey and leaving our brand new house of 4 weeks.

Congratulations. Getting to work with Infragistics should be a cool experience. I have a number of Infragistics customers as clients, and I am sure they will enjoy having a developer evangelist in their back yard (I am in NJ myself). 1/10/2005 9:15 AM | Douglas Reilly

Devin:

Sorry to see you go! You'll be missed as I make the trips over to the St. Louis .Net meetings.

When you get to NJ, see if you can lookup someone named Ayoola O. She is a former SourceGear employee who moved east. Last I heard was still working at Infragistics.

Take care on your move. Make sure you send me any new contact info.

Congrats on the new position. NJ is a pretty good place to live, expensive but serene. I've often wondered about Infragistics, I see their ads on pages 2 and 3 of MSDN magazine every month. They seem like a good company with a good product, it'll be interesting to read your blog as you move.

If you need a realtor or background info on towns etc. drop me a line (contact form on my site). I live in Watchung, NJ. 1/11/2005 11:43 AM | Francis Shanahan
