Thanks to Jeff for setting a blog up for me.
Tonight the St. Louis .NET user group is supposed to have a speaker from the MS Office team in to talk about Office 2003. Hopefully she can get here since she is flying out of LAX. I will probably be spending most of the meeting working on my presentation for Jeffs UG tomorrow (Kansas City .NET UG). I decided to tack on 30 minutes or so or Whidbey discussion since we are now finally able to talk about it <whew>.
For those that have not seen it, I would really recommend picking up the December issues of asp.netPRO magazine. The entire issue is dedicated to Whidbey and there are great articles by some of my favorite authors: Steven Smith, GAD, Stephen Walther, Nikhil Kothari and a great interview with ScottGu.
I have not yet decided whether or not my favorite new features are going to be in VS.NET or ASP.NET. Among other things, the new deployment tool in VS.NET Whidbey is going to be so killer, but so are the membership and personalization features and the new server controls I have seen in ASP.NET.
