I don't know about you, but I've read a few of those "Guess what...Microsoft made me an MVP" blogs and they always seem a little...well...not really British, if the Brits among you know what I mean. They are not really aligned to our world-famous national pastime of studied understatement. A bit too brash and forward for my taste. Even slightly smug. Of course, when it happens to a Brit, they are as flattered, conceited and unbearably proud as the next person, and don't pass up any opportunity to make sure that everyone knows...in a modest, understated sort of way, of course.
Guess what... Thanks guys.
