With the number of events I've been doing lately, it seems like I'm always scrambling to provide somebody with a picture or bio or session description. Now I can just point them here and they have a choice. Just one more step in my quest to make everyone else's lives easier.

BIO:
Chris Williams is a Principal Consultant for Magenic. He is the founder of several .NET User Groups on the east coast, and the Twin Cities XNA User Group and Twin Cities Developers Guild, both in Minneapolis, MN. He is a rabid blogger at BlogusMaximus.net, author of the very popular NINE Questions series and owner of the VB Community site www.ILoveVB.net.
He's also a DirectX / XNA MVP, MCT, MCSD (.NET) Early Adopter, MCAD, Director of the INETA Speakers Bureau, freelance game developer, occasional author, tech editor, conference speaker, vintage arcade game collector and INETA Community Champion. He also plays a pretty mean guitar in Rock Band.

CURRENT TALKS:
What's this XNA thing I keep hearing about?
This session will cover what XNA is (and isn't) along with what's needed to develop with XNA 3.1. We will also cover target platforms of Windows, XBOX 360, Zune and Surface. We'll go through some demos and take a look at some code, identifying key aspects of the XNA Framework and game development. We'll also discuss the Xbox Live Community Games.
Leveraging Social Networking / Social Media tools in your applications
Social networking sites, such as LinkedIn, BrightKite, Facebook & Twitter are growing at an incredible rate. In this talk, we'll take a brief look at some various forms of social networking tools and their respective APIs. I'll also demo building a Twitter client app using VB .NET, WPF and the Twitter API.
