Not too long after the INETA Board elections (mentioned
here) I was approached and offered a different role within INETA. Specifically, the role of Director of User Group Recruitment.
The mission of this role is to identify and recruit non-traditional (i.e. specific technology focus, such as:
XNA, Silverlight, BI, Sharepoint, etc) and newly formed traditional (.NET) user groups into INETA.
After some discussion and consideration, I accepted the position and immediately began assembling a team to help me in achieving this mission. I know I've got my work cut out for me, but I'm really looking forward to it.
