Men who feel strong in the justice of their cause, or confident in their powers, do not waste breath in childish boasts of their own superiority and querulous depreciation of their antagonists.

Since today is my birthday, we took a break for dinner and went to one of my favorite places to visit in Seattle:  GameWorks.  I was pretty excited because I still had a bunch of credits on my card leftover from the MVP summit.

Well, we got in there and the place looked really different. Apparently in the last 8-9 months, they have rearranged things a bit.  So we work our way upstairs and grab a table. The food was good, but my mixed drink was terrible. (Jason, Andy & Jolene with with me. Jason got a drink also, and it wasnt good either.  Andy was prepping for a race, so no drinking.)

After the meal we wandered around for a bit and hard a pretty rough time finding anything we really wanted to play. Turns out, they had removed a lot of the games and replaced the front downstairs area with more dining area and a bar. The place definitely lacked a lot of the feel it had before.

All in all, it was a pretty big disappointment. They didn't have any "new" games and a lot of the good games they had were gone.  If it weren't for the fact that I *still* have nearly 300 points on my card, that I bought nearly a year ago, I probably wouldn't go back at all.

At least the food was good, though I don't remember it being so expensive last time either.

We're back at Jason's now, so it's back to work on the game.  He's processing all the audio we recorded with Andy and can't stop laughing.  I'm working on level 2 (inside the treehouse.)  Picked up some more 5HE for when it gets later.

Today was a good birthday, even if it was busy as hell. Got a lot of phone calls today from various family members.
