Men who feel strong in the justice of their cause, or confident in their powers, do not waste breath in childish boasts of their own superiority and querulous depreciation of their antagonists.

I normally don't pay much attention to voyeuristic crap like this, but the title mentioned blogging and murder. So I figured I'd take a peek.

Then... I got to this part:

“Radel had also dated Rachelle at one time. He was known around town as a pied-piper of sorts who gathered high schoolers to his computer shop where they played video games and dungeons and dragons. It didn't take police long to suspect that Radel... Arrant... or both men had something to do with the murder.”

Ummm... I'm sorry, could you repeat that?

“a pied-piper of sorts who gathered high schoolers to his computer shop where they played video games and dungeons and dragons”

Ok, seriously? Are we as a nation still so close-minded and intellectually backwards that the fact that they were playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons after school is somehow deemed relevant to this case? This MURDER case? This “I hate my mom... would you kill her“ case?

“where they played video games and dungeons and dragons”

*sigh*

“dungeons and dragons”

Unbelievable.

Indeed... sigh... Can they please get over this... Get a real lead instead of preconceived notions...

Cheers,

We all know that the real issue isn't the ones playing D&D...please...that is SO 1982. The real issue is all those kids that are now adults but who's mental state was altered by the most evil of RPG pen and paper games to ever exist:

Palladium's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Think of all those kids that died because they thought they could scour the sewers like their heroes, only to realize that it stunk alot worse than the cartoons made it out to be.

What about all those poor asian kids that got beat up because people thought that they must all be related to Shredder in someway?

What about the horrible demonization of athletes and outlawing of certain sports equipment because of Casey Jones and his arsenal of evil hockey sticks and golf clubs?!

The real issue isn't Dungeons and Dragons, its youth living out a fantasy that they're mutant animals...and THAT'S what should be front and center at the 6 o'clock news!

Now if you'll excuse me...I've gotta go take down Shredder's niece and nephew...they're secretly manning the Famous Wok at the food court.

I see that you were in Greenville, SC where I am located. For your next trip to Greenville, remember HAPP Controls has a warehouse and distribution center here so you could save shipping costs if you picked it up while in town.

Uhh, I still live in Greenville and I shop at HAPP all the time already. Not sure what that has to do with this post though...
