Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.

I guess if the Nigerians can have their check scam, the Indians can have their domain name registry scam.

About once a month or so (sometimes more, sometimes less) I get handed the phone (since I never answer it) and its some dude with an Indian accent telling me he's from the Domain Name Registry service. He starts asking me questions about my domain, I hang up, blah blah blah.  Since I never answer the phone, I also never see the caller ID.

Well, today he called my cell. Ironically, I was out getting a soda and missed the call, BUT... his number (866) 383 0986 was on my caller id. Not knowing it was the domain scammer guy, I googled the phone number and Holy Moly... look what I found.

What a tool this guy must be. And apparently he's been at it a while... although he's never asked for my fax number yet. Or maybe he would if I didn't hang up on him every time.
