Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.
Man... writing a book is freakin' hard!

My kudos to all of you who have finished one (or more) already. Yes, even the really crappy ones.

No David, that wasn't meant towards you. ;)
(Besides, I have a newfound appreciation for your book. It got a lot better in the later chapters.)

Yes I'm still working on my title, and yes I knew all along it wouldn't be easy. I just had no idea how hard it would be at times to regain momentum after you've stopped for any length of time longer than a bathroom break.

you're not saying you've ONLY worked on the title right?

or is it one of those things where once you get the title the book writes itself?

do you need any readers at any point? i (and some of the others from 4 guys from viewpoint) would be interested if you need some.

oh, and congrats on the book thing in general. did you ever go look at the 8BitTheater Link [not that you need MORE distractions from writing.... ;) ]

lol no... the title was done ages ago, I'm writing the actual book now. It's just slowwww going. I have a full time day job of course, and a chronic inability to say no to extra projects. In addition to my day job, I'm also working on a fairly lucrative sideproject for a local company, teaching programming a couple nights a week at the local high school, preparing to deliver a weeklong vb.net MOC course (which I'll be taking vacation in order to teach all week, since I need it to maintain my MCT cert), writing a book, working on my game, writing the occasional article, eating and sleeping, and occasionally showering. Getting ready for South Carolina's FIRST Code Camp (that I'm throwing with the help of my .net user group)... Did I also mention running a .net user group? Travelling to other code camps to speak in GA, NC, FL, OR, etc...) Oh and updating my blog occasionally, and trying to level up my 25th level Undead Warlock in World of Warcraft. Damn... that's a lot of stuff. First time I wrote it all down.

to answer your other question, I would love some readers. I'd like to knock out 1-2 more chapters first, but then yeah... definitely.
