There is one thing I did lose when the laptop died...SQL Server databases.  I didn't realize that the MDF and LDF files are not caught in the backup.  I'll have to find a way to remember that I need to manually apply those.

The combination of preparing for Code Camp 2008, overbooking myself with work, and the hard drive crash, I am getting less sleep than usual and, as a result, am not always thinking clearly.  Why am I telling you this?  Well...

Regarding reinstalling software...I am having MAJOR issues installed the 3.0 extensions for VS 2K5.  I have a 3rd-party open source product that uses WPF.  I want to view it and have been using VS 2K5 for months.  DUH!  I have VS 2K8!  So needless to say I just switched.
