Second Chance Vouchers
Microsoft seems to be offering second-chance vouchers regularly. Basically, if you fail the exam, you may take it again FOR FREE. So why not go out there and try? You can learn more about second chance vouchers here:

ASP.NET 3.x
Not that much has changed from ASP.NET 2.0 to 3.x. Furthermore, there is yet to be a certification exam for 3.x so why not give it a try? With the second-chance you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
