Battlestar Galactica
Last night was the second season finale of the SciFi Channel original mini-series, Battlestar Galactica. It is a most excellent show focusing on character development, inter- and intra-personal relationships, and human conflict. Last night was no different. The writing is excellent, the sets are beautiful, and the acting is top notch. Olmos is perfect for Adama...absolutely perfect. However, Michael Hogan is possibly the most under-recognized actor on the show. His portrayal of the stout-hearted, loyal, jaded, cynical, damaged, dysfunctional Colonel Tigh is my favorite on the show. I get so frustrated with Tigh and at the same time I'm so relieved to see a more true-to-life character fighting with his own demons.
