Yeah, that's right. Someone actually had the guts to do it. They took words that I had written and put them in their magazine. Those brave, brave fools. Don't they know what they have done? Pandora's box has been opened and the vileness in my mind has been unleashed upon an unsuspecting world. May God have mercy on your souls.
If you think you're brave enough (and actually have a hankering for reading), then go ahead and take a peek. The Sept/Oct 2007 issue of CoDe magazine has an article that I wrote on XNA Game Studio Express. In the article, I cover the introductory basics of the XNA framework and XNA Game Studio Express and then go on to walk through making a simple 2D game from start to finish.
The article was a lot of fun to write and hopefully they'll let me do another one sometime (fingers crossed!). I do have to say, I've written a lot for my blog, churned out quite a few tutorials and game demos for my XNADevelopment site but I have never had as much fear at seeing my words staring back at me until I held that magazine in my hand. Absolutely terrifying, but I'm glad I did it.
I'm not sure where you can pick up a copy (it's available for subscribers online and on newsstands somewhere). But, if you happen to get a copy of CoDe Magazine in your hands and flip through the article, let me know what you think. Just be gentle, it's my first time....
