I've always hated these type of blog posts. The ones that say, "Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, I've been busy". Tends to make me think, "You've been away? I hadn't even noticed..." and now I find myself wanting to announce to the world (a world who didn't notice, well I guess
a few people did...oh and hi Mom!) something similar. Well, similar except that I'm not sorry I was away, I'm just letting everyone know that I am back.
Yep, I've officially decided today is the day I start my momentum a going and get barreling back into "things" again. And I have a lot of "things" that need to get going. I'm pretty excited about all of these "things" too. So excited that every time I say "things", I put quotes around the word and shiver a little at the thought of those "things". Which is good, it's good to feel excited. Helps with the momentum, helps in getting "things" done.
Sometimes it gets a bit hard juggling family, work, hobbies and a myriad of other responsibilities. Finding a balance in it all and finding the drive to continue with projects that you don't get paid for can get a bit difficult at times. Then when you have a lot of well meaning people throwing advice and suggestions your way, that can cause you to think a lot more about all of it then you used to when before you were just having fun.
It's good to think about why you do the things you do and what your goals are. It's good to have people in your life that make you think about who you are and what you are and where you're going with your life. It's good to take some time away to think all of that through. But I think I've thought long enough now (I think I'm through thinking my thoughts I need to think, I think). Now it's time to take those thoughts and get active.
Here's to moving forward and getting "things" done. I'm on a mission and I'm ready to get "things" rolling. Let's see, which "thing" should I tackle first....
It's comeback time.
