Heroes

Well, I was pretty excited when I saw the previews for NBC's new show Heroes and watching the first episode last night did not leave me disappointed. I'm just crossing my fingers that NBC doesn't pull it's typical shenanigans and cancel the show before it has a chance to develop it's loyal following.

Heroes follows the lives of various individuals as they begin to discover they have super powers. It has a MutantX feel, with better acting and not quite so cheesy. I'm pretty curious at this point what's going to happen next and am looking forward to next Monday already!

I think this review over at Heroic Arts Comics does an excellent job of covering the first show, so I won't even bother saying anything more.

Definitely a much watch on my list for new shows so far. I actually stopped playing with XNA long enough to watch the full episode. Please don't screw this one up NBC!

Sweet! I recorded it last night (was watching the football game instead), and I was hoping that it would be a good series.

This show will rock. I love the Hiro. And the cheerleader who stuck her hand in the garberator, how cool!

Super-heroes are *MONEY*. Even 24 is based somewhat on this concept because there is no *way* that Jack Bauer is a real person! He's like Batman but without dressing like D'Arcy.

NOTHING beats me looking hot in my contoured-nipple-breastplate.

I've watched the first two episodes so far, and overall I really like it. Hiro is cool, but the webcam stripper is the most interesting at the moment because the nature of her "power" is somewhat unclear at this time... ok that and the fact that she's a webcam stripper. :)
