Joel Spolsky announced this week that he was opening a niche Job Board. I know, I know woo hoo another stinking job board where millions of applicants are spammed by millions of recruiters. Big deal! Well it is a big deal. Joel has established policies to make this job board so much better than the big guys. Like, posting the company name. And I don't mean the recruiter's company name. Oh no, you have to post the actaul company name or your post is eliminated.
Yee ha! I was trying to figure out a way to combat the endless job spam but Joel has done it. There are a number of other restrictions. You should check out the job site. And you might just want to read through some of Joel's latest posts as he avails us of his observations on his job board turned social experiment. I don't think the recruiters are happy, but it sure seems like the candidates are!
