The face of Windows Server 2008

During my daily visit to Microsoft.com I found this - The face of Windows Server 2008 - WOW! You have got to watch a few!

I get a very good and personal experience to listen the messages right from the people building the product.

Each person that is speaking is expressing their passion and explains what their specific feature/product does.

Huge thumbs up to the Windows Server team for getting this together. This is like mini- developer evangelism right from the source. I got a really comfy Chanel 9 vibe here, but WAY better video/sound quality :)

I know so much more about the 2008 Server then I did before just from a few short videos.

Shouldn't they do the demo in Silverlight rather than Flash? ;)

I did notice this and was a little disappointed. They did do well with the Video quality on there, it almost looks too good.

That being said I AM a huge fan of Silverlight myself, don't take me wrong.

Honestly, I doubt too many server admins would stomach installing a plugin marked as ... BETA or ALPHA ... so I would see the reasoning behind this...

...Although if they are looking at 2008 Server Beta3 in a comfy VPC, they can stomach a Silverlight install on that server ;)

Simply from a marketing stand point it would have been too much to ask from the user...
