[this was an update to the last post, but I think this deserves a new one]

Take your WM5 Device and type this in: http://mobile.live.com/wlm

This is Windows Live Mobile Messenger Web Application [BETA] - it rocks!

I just loaded it up with my second messanger account and have been having fun with it for few minutes - it works!

There is no live refresh of the page when someone sends you a message, but that's ok - since the message on the screen of your pal will show that you ARE using a mobile device and we all know what that means when we see that while chatting with someone online.

Basically - this will save me some txt messages and their 160 character limits from going back and forth. [I know I ought to just start sending MMS]

I would simply login to my second messanger account, which I have designated to my friends as my mobile only contact base.

I'm excited. I love communication options and this is another great one.

This time it's an Application rather then a website. And I seem to like it this way more - the UI is nice and snappy, no need to clog the dataline on the device with UI [HTML].

I am completely foregoing Pocket Maps from Microsoft - since this does Directions and always up to date Traffic.

If you have WM5 device and you find yourself looking for maps or directions [one day you would] - you need to check it out - http://wls.live.com/

You can find detailed comparison to Google maps online service here - http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/smartphones/windows-live-search-for-mobile-vs-google-maps-mobile-218467.php
