New Vista Ultimate Extras... WTF?
I noticed on Windows update that there were new Windows Ultimate Extras. I got excited for about 1/10th of a second. Then I notice that it is Sound Schemes. Huh? After like a year between releasing anything it's sound schemes? I think MS should finally admit that Ultimate Extras aren't a value add. There has been nothing so far that couldn't have been delivered as freeware. Nothing so far has had any significant value to warrant being exclusive for Ultimate. It was a neat idea, but maybe it's time ......

Twitter

My buddy Steve Eadie has been using a utility called Twitter and I decided I'd give it a try.  It's an interesting idea.  Sort of like blogging but much more real time.  It's actually made useful by installing the Vista Sidebar Gadget Twadget. I'm going to give it a try for a little while to see how I like it.

Updated Vista Score
So, I got a new laptop, a Dell Latitude D820. Intel Centrino Duo updated from D810's plain old Centrino but nVidia Graphics instead of ATI. everything else relatively the same. My Vista Experience Score should be rocking above the 3.6 my 2 year old laptop scored, no?
