No, no Brock yet. I’m still waiting for my son to be born. He’s now officially 2 days overdue and I can tell you unequivocally that Belinda (my wife) is very ready for him to make his debut. Perhaps my family has a little too much Microsoft blood running through our veins to hit a delivery date! J
I do have some very exciting news in terms of my involvement with INETA (the International .NET Association)…
It was officially announced on Sunday at the TechEd User Group Leader Summit that INETA is making a number of changes organizationally to renew its commitment to member groups and give our last round of leaders a much deserved break. The Board of Directors of INETA was revised and an Advisory Board was created. The Advisory Board is designed to leverage the former Board of Directors knowledge and skills in advising the new Board. The new Board included…yours truly, along with a slew of incredibly talented and very active .NET community volunteers.
I was elected to the role of Vice President of Marketing, working with an incredibly talented Marketing Committee to plan and execute INETA’s North American marketing efforts. This role also puts me on the Board of Directors. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to work with such an extremely talented group of people – both on the Board and in the Marketing Committee. We’re going to be doing some incredible things over the coming year we have planned. A Big Thank You to Sara Faatz, who is now the Vice President of INETA, who left the VP of Marketing role is such good condition. Thanks Sara!
The new organizational structure for the INETA Board of Directors…
