The WI Microsoft community continues to grow and impress even the most skeptical of people.  Tonight (Tuesday, May 24) we held the first WI Windows Users Group meeting.  It turned out to be a great event in spite of some flaws in marketing execution.  The new web site we built threw an unexpected curve ball in our invitations and event communications, but the issue is resolved thanks to some hard working WI .NET Users Group people.  Basically nobody received the invitations.  However, we still had over 30 people attend, including several Microsoft folks.  We had a great first meeting with Brian Lewis from Microsoft discussing Windows Platform Futures.  A good time was had by all and we're looking forward to a much bigger turnout next month now that we have our communications systems operating fully.

Glad to see it finally happened! Congratulations and, on the community's behalf, thanks for all your hard work in helping start another great group!
