It was interesting to wake up this morning and have a ton of e-mail (because I use NewsGator’s aggregator) pointing out that Scoble had linked to me (see this for the link). I was seriously surprised. I first had to go review my post to see if I had been offensive (thank goodness, after review, I don’t think I was). I sometimes speak my mind without much thought, and I was hoping this wasn’t a case of something that I’d regret moving forward. Again, I think I made a good point, and I equally respect Scoble’s points.
Much as Google’s search engines (in all their incantations) have become verbalized (i.e., “googled”, etc.) it was interesting to see that Scoble’s linked-to sites were recognized as either being 1) Scoble-d or 2) Scoble-ized. He’s definitely one of the most popular bloggers out there, but to be verbalized seems to be one of the biggest honors bestowed by a community. By far of bigger importance than being linked to, I feel compelled to congratulate Robert for being verbalized. Kudos to him! I hope he keeps up the stellar work and I look forward to purchasing/reading his book (the Red Couch) as soon as it becomes available.
Thanks to everyone for the supporting words and thank you – Robert – for linking to me.
