Well, I have updated my goals for 2008. Considering that last year I had 38 goals and only made 31 of them, I have downsized my goals this year 33...6 of them are the ones I didn't make last year. You know the saying if at first you don't succeed...
One of those goals is to spend more time communicating the things I am currently learning...no matter how insignificant. I have found that there are a number of things that I have learned that I thought--well, that was no big deal. But then, what if the person that had the answer to the thing I needed to know had felt the same way? I might not have found the answer so easily at Google. So I have decided that if I spend more than 30 minutes running down a solution to a problem (that shouldn't be posted on the Daily WTF) I'll try to post it the same day (otherwise it might not happen). For that matter, even the stupid stuff deserves a post now and then to keep us honest coders--even if it's my own code--will get equal treatment.
So here's to a new year...tomorrow I will finish my post of my Log4Net stuff I promised some guys at work.
