I had been thinking about it for a while. After reading about Dave Donaldson’s New Toy, and after thinking about it for a month, I broke down and bought the HP expansion base for my laptop. It does two things for me—one, it gets my laptop screen up at eye level, and allows me to freely move my keyboard to where it works best. Now with my 17” laptop and 21” LCD panel, I can position my keyboard to where I work best. To cover myself, I asked my wife to buy it for me for Christmas. Very Cool. Great idea Dave.
