OK. So when does what we write become a coding template and just a simple example??? I was reading through Fritz Onion’s most excellent expose of ASP.NET (Essential ASP.NET). I had been thinking about it for a while. After reading about Dave Donaldson’s New Toy, and after thinking about it for a month, I broke down and bought the HP expansion base for my laptop. It does two things for me—one, it gets my laptop screen up at eye level, and allows me to freely move my keyboard to where it works best. Now with my 17” laptop and 21” LCD panel, I can position my keyboard to where I work best. To cover myself, I asked my wife to buy it for me for Christmas....
OK— So I am teaching SQL Administration this week, and I come across an example of database objects in SQL. Now, I have taught this class at least 10 times over the last three years and it has never really bothered me, but today it did.
