The journey started seven months ago when I was asked by Wrox if I was interested or if I knew someone that was interested in writing the new DotNetNuke5 book. At that time, I put together an all Florida team with the exception of DotNetNuke founder Shaun Walker. The team consisted of Darrell Hardy, Stan Schultes, and Ryan Morgan. Everyone was committed to the writing of the book and all are extremely knowledgeable.
We all have been speaking together at code camps in the Florida area about DotNetNuke. Both Darrell and I spoke at the DotNetNuke OpenForce event in Orlando, FL and Ryan has spoken at the DotNetNuke OpenForce event in Las Vegas. Stan is a veteran speaker and often works with Russ Fustino from Microsoft.
Needless to say, we all have day jobs and the writing of the book was really a labor of love. I hope you like the book as much as we liked writing it.
