Bill Machrone was the editor and chief for PC magazine. He wrote his last column in the February 20, 2007 edition of the magazine. For the past 25 years, Bill was one of my favorite reads in the magazine. He was super knowledgeable and a tell it like it is kind of writer.
Sad to see that economics was the reason of his departure. He'll be missed by this reader.
Now, I wonder what the future of John Dvorak?
