According to Joe Brinkman from DNN Corp, the new version of DotNetNuke will incorporate jQuery. Microsoft has already announced that jQuery will be in the next version of Visual Studio. This week marks the second week that I've been with my students in my Honors Programming class. First of all, it's great to see that I have 5 females taking the class and the class size is 16. I have been using the beta version of these products for a couple of months now and I must say that I'm quite impressed with the product and the price. The product includes for web developers Visual Web Developer and students can create asp.net web pages that includes a local server so you don't have to install IIs on all the pc's in your lab. Heck yes! Yesterday was the day that MSDN subscribers got the word that they could start downloading the new version of Visual Studio 2005. I tried and tried and tried again to click on the download link and nothing happened. I gave up and went back to the site today and the same thing happened. Before I gave up I tried again and the download started. I looked at the time of the download and was going to take 13 hours for the download.
