Wow! It's been a long time coming, but I've finally started my new blog on geekswithblogs.net! I'd considered writing my own blogging software to use on my website over at BrianHoff.com, and I'm sure I still will, but I think that this is the best place for it right now.

So what do I plan to accomplish here? Well, this is where I plan to talk about everything I'm working on and everything that I think is important to technologists in today's business environment. I'll hit on emerging patterns and practices as well as talk about the old stuff that's new again. I'll be discussing what I think is hot (CAB, Guidance Automation) and what I think is a little late to the party (Silverlight? Please Microsoft, prove me wrong. While I think it is awesome and I'm all for it, taking Flash head-on this late in the game is a bit extreme).

Well, that's enough for now. I'll be back later with something that's been on my mind for a while now. Take care!
